Southern Iran Heat Index Spikes to 82.2°C, Earth's Highest Ever Temperature

Earth's Highest Ever Temperature is Recorded in Southern Iran, United States Weather Agency Called up for an Investigation to Verify the Claim. Iran Situated on the Lut desert is the Hottest Place on the Earth's Surface Because of low Elevation, Dry Condition and High Pressure zone.....

Iran, situated near the Dasht-e Lut desert, has already achieved the record of the world's highest ever temperature.

Recently, a weather station in southern Iran has claimed that the heat index of a village in Iran was reported to be 82.2° C (180°F). If this claim is accurate, then Iran has become the world's Highest temperature country.

Commenting, US Metrologists Collin clarified that the heathiest humans are the kind that can't survive in such a scorching heat,

"The healthiest humans would not survive in a heat index that high for more than a few hours. Keep in mind this is heat index not air temperature."

Metrologists of United States Weather Agency call an Investigation to Verify the Claim

As soon as this claim came and it sparked like fire among the people that the temperature of a part of Iran was recorded as 82.2 Celsius. The meteorologist of the United States weather agency Colin McCarthy has called for an investigate to verify its accuracy and Completeness.

Metrologist Collin McCarthy tweeted on Twitter for its confirmation and said,

"A heat index of 180°F (82.2°C) and a dew point of 97°F (36.1°C) were recorded in southern Iran today. If these readings are confirmed this would be the highest heat index and dew point ever recorded on Earth."

Many discrepancies were noted in this matter because other weather stations reported very low dew points. Majority of the weather stations reported dew points less than 30 Celsius.

Highest Ever Temperature of the Planet Earth, Is Recoded in Iran's Lut Desert

If seen from a proepective, this claim can also be true because Lut Desert, located in Southern Iran, is already in the list of the hottest places in the world. In 2005, the extremely highest ever temperature on the earth, 159.3°F (70.7°C), was recorded in the Lut Desert.

The main reason for the Extreme Heat in Iran is because of Low Elevation, dry conditions, and its location in a subtropical High Pressure zone, which limits rainfall in the places, allowing the sun to immensely heat the surface.
