Heavy Rains In Hyderbad: There is a possibility of heavy rain in the Nizam's city Hyderabad. According to the latest report of the Indian Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain in Hyderabad on 31 August, 1 and 2 September. Red alert has been issued in the city. Primary and secondary schools will be closed on 2 September.

While on one hand it is raining in Central India and in many states there is almost a situation of scorching heat. On the other hand, warning of pouring and heavy rain has been issued in the South Indian state of Hyderabad. 

Schools to be Shut Down in Hyderabad Amid Heavy Rains 

The monsoon is making its presence felt across India in such a way that people get confused whether it is summer or the monsoon. You can guess the heavy rains in Hyderabad from the fact that the district collector has declared a holiday on 2nd September for primary and secondary schools due to heavy rains in Hyderabad.

IMD Issues Red Alert: Citizens are Advised to Follow Heavy Monsoon Guidelines 

The District Collector had to take this step for the security and safety of children studying in primary and secondary schools. A red alert has been issued due to heavy rains in Hyderabad. 

All citizens have been asked to follow the guidelines issued for the monsoon. Unnecessary roaming or going out without any reason has been denied. These precautions are also applicable in the neighbouring 3 districts of Hyderabad.

More than Expected Rainfall Recieved in The City of Nizams 

The Indian Meteorological Department had predicted heavy rains in Hyderabad on 31 August and 1 September, but in its latest report, pouring rain was forecast on 2 September as well.

The City of Nizams in Telangana was expected to receive around 450 mm of rainfall, but actually received 511.5 mm of rainfall so far in Hyderabad – which was almost 14% more than the expected Figure.
