Ron Garan Spend 177 days on Space Marked, "We are Living a Lie" Traveled 17 Million Miles

Ron Garan, an experienced NASA astronaut, spent a total of 178 days in space, during which he visited a total of 2842 orbits and traveled approximately 71 million miles in space.  After which they realized that we were living in an illusion, "it's obvious from the vantage point of space that we're living a lie."

Ron Garan, an experienced and Enthusiastic astronaut of National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA, spent a total of 178 days in space, after which he came and shared his experience and said, "that we're living a lie". 

Ronald J Garan, whom we know as Ron Garan, travelled in 2848 orbits in space for a total of 177 days 23 hours and 54 minutes. After his arrival, he told that he realises the reality of our Earth from Space and stressed on the "interconnection" of all the things and living beings present on Earth. In previous undersea mission NEEMO-9, he spent 18 days at the depth of the ocean.

How a "paper-thin layer" keeps Everything Alive on Earth ?

While expressing his feelings he also mentioned a “thin sheet of paper”, according to him this thin sheet of paper keeps all the living beings present on Earth alive.

"When I looked out the window of the International Space Station, I saw the paparazzi-like flashes of lightning storms, I saw dancing curtains of auroras that seemed so close it was as if we could reach out and touch them.

"And I saw the unbelievable thinness of our planet's atmosphere. In that moment, I was hit with the sobering realisation that that paper-thin layer keeps every living thing on our planet alive.

Earth is beyond our Imagination

His experience of more than five and a half months  in space makes him realize that Earth is very different from the imagination and views of all of us. According to them, our Earth is very fragile and the variables of the Universe are very fragile and we all are living in an illusion, that is all of us creatures are living a false life or "lie". 

"I saw an iridescent biosphere teeming with life. I didn't see the economy. But since our human-made systems treat everything, including the very life-support systems of our planet, as the wholly owned subsidiary of the global economy, it's obvious from the vantage point of space that we're living a lie."

Interrelated Structure" is not a Cliche or Philosophy, "that's the Reality" 

He said from his experience that in today's time it is impossible to get "peace" on Earth because we are unaware of a basic fact and even if we know it, we do not accept it. And it is a fact that all living beings present in the Universe and on Earth are "interconnected" with each other.

"Now the interrelated structure of all is reality, that's not a cliche that's not a Philosophy, that's the reality of the world that we live in, that's fact. That what happens to one directly affects all of us indirectly. That we are all inextricably linked together, in this fabric of life that we call earth." 

Humans Need to Change their Priorities 

His new views made him realise that humans now need to think deeply once again on their priorities in this new era. According to him, today we are giving priority to all those things which in reality are not so vital and because of this, in today's era humans are helpless even after having full wealth, facility and Security. 

By Emphasizing the necessity of changing our Priorities Ronald marked, "We need to move from thinking economy, society, planet to planet, society, economy. That's when we're going to continue our evolutionary process.

"There's this light bulb that pops up where they realise how interconnected and interdependent we all are. We're not going to have peace on Earth until we recognise the basic fact of the interrelated structure of all reality,". 

"I didn't see the economy. But since our human-made systems treat everything, including the very life-support systems of our planet, as the wholly owned subsidiary of the global economy, it's obvious from the vantage point of space that we're living a lie

"I realized that this was a biological response of my brain attempting to reorganize and give meaning to information about the wonderful and awesome processes that I was privileged to view.”
