Havoc of Heavy Rains In Mumbai, "Red Alert" issued by IMD for Mumbai and Joining Areas

Due to heavy rains in Mumbai, "Red alert" has been issued, Mumbaikars are facing increased problems. Multiple flights were cancelled and more than 50 flights were diverted. Many trains have been cancelled,  railway tracks have become swimming pools in which even fishes have started swimming, "Marine species on a tour to unexplored location" marked the User. 

Havoc of Pouring Rain in Mumbai, Alert for Coastal Areas of Arabian Sea and Mumbai 

The month of July is going on and the havoc of rain is showing its effect in every corner of India and the world. And in the coastal areas the havoc of heavy rains is becoming uncontrolled. The destruction caused by rain in many areas is severe. 

Like every year, this year also nature is showing its wrath. Due to heavy rains the condition of India's financial capital Mumbai is becoming worse. As July is passing by, the worries of Mumbaikars are increasing.

A video is Shared in which there is water filled on the railway track and as the train crosses the platform, the water starts splashing on the platforms.

IMD has issued a Severe Alert or "Red Alert" for the areas and districts adjoining the Mumbai Coastal Area which includes Thane, Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Ratnagiri Coastal Areas and Sindhudurg Sham. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains and there is a possibility of waterlogging in multiple low lying and plateau areas.

Warning of Heavy Rains in Multiple Districts and Areas of Maharastra 

IMD has issued a warning of heavy rains due to natural calamities not only in the financial capital Mumbai but also in many districts and popular cities of Maharashtra state, including — Nasik, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Ahmednagar, Kolhapur, Sangli, Latur, Osmanabad, Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Sholapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, Yavatmal, Thane, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon. 

"Orange Alert" for Posh Area of Mumbai "Colaba" 

Indian Meteorological Department has issued an "Orange Alert" especially for the posh area of Mumbai "Colaba",  in which there is a possibility of 16 mm rain in Mumbai Colaba area.

Fishes are swimming on Railway Track Mistaking it to be a Swimming Pool
Recently a user Trains of India shared a video on Twitter in which it can be seen that due to pouring rain in Mumbai, fishes are moving on the railway tracks instead of trains, as if it is a lake or a swimming pool – you can see how 3-4 big fishes are mistaking the railway tracks for a river and having fun in it.

Is the Situation Haywire in Mumbai ? 

As there was heavy rain in Maharashtra, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde also assured the citizens by saying, 

"It has rained a lot in less time, more than the carrying capacity. Therefore, there was waterlogging on railway tracks and roads. Traffic has started moving now. BMC, state disaster team, and NDRF are on alert…Traffic is running on Eastern and Western highways and all railway lines. Senior BMC officials are present at all waterlogging-prone spots in the city,". 

Natural Disaster doubles the worries of Mumbaikars 

Where should the Mumbaikars go? Their house is submerged in water, the road has turned into a swimming pool and the entire nearby place has turned into a river.

Due to Showering rains in Mumbai, people are facing a problem like flood in all the low lying areas, due to which the traffic has not completely stopped but has stopped to a great extent. The problems of Citizens have increased, they are facing a lot of difficulties in Travelling, people are forced to not be able to leave their homes. 

Mumbaikars have lost their sleep due to the flood water entering their homes. Citizens are worried about the arrival of snakes, Alligator, fishes and many other aquatic animals in the water. Because of this, neither they are able to live properly nor they are able to sleep properly, neither they are able to eat and drink properly.

The Mumbai Rains marked, 

"A huge rainband is heading towards Mumbai, Heavy to intense rain spells expected in Worli, Malabar hill, Dadar, Bandra, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Chembur, Powai, Andheri and adjoining suburbs nearby these areas will get intense rain for next hour. Total accumulation expected 30-40 mm" 

Showcasing Havoc of Rains in Mumbai — King Circle area of Mumbai Near Dharavi 

A video was shared by ANI News Agency on Thursday — the video of pouring water is being said to be of King Circle area near Dharavi, Mumbai.
Amid, heavy rains in Mumbai, not just trains but flights too are badly affected. Due to which multiple flights were cancelled at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and as per estimates more than 50 flights had to be diverted.

Due to continuous cancellation and diversion of flights, Chahtarpati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus requested the passengers in his official Twitter handle to check their flight status before arriving at the airport. "..... Advises all the passengers to check their flight status with their respective airlines and leave for the airport a little earlier,".
