2nd Bird Flu Case India : 4 years Old Girl from West Bengal, Check Symptoms
A 4 year old girl from West Bengal, India got infected with Bird Flu Virus. Symptoms of Bird Flu Virus were visible since January. This infected beach girl was admitted to the hospital twice but she did not feel any relief.
The 4 years old girl was having, Abdominal pain, strong fever, severe respiratory distress while taking breath. Then the 4 year old girl was kept in the ICU of the local hospital, May I was finally discharged from the hospital, from the swab samples of the child it was found that she had Bird Flu Virus.

Recently a 4 year old girl from West Bengal got infected with Bird Flu Virus. This case is now the second bird flu case in India so far. Earlier in 2019, this deadly virus was found in a human in India.
The case was detected in January. And, no one has been infected since then,” a senior official of the Union Health Ministry said.
What is Bird Flu Virus ?
Bird Flu is a type of mild sickness caused by Type A avian influenza viruses. This virus usually affects people who are in contact with wild birds, domestic chickens or other animals. It is not a very common thing for humans to get Bird Flu infection, and have not been reported in the past. Bird Flu can also happen due to being in Contact with infected and polluted environment. Along with India, two cases related to Bird Flu have also been reported in China; the first case was reported on June 2 and the second case was reported on June 8.

Pain in the muscles, fever and malaise in the entire body, sneezing and runny nose are the main symptoms of Bird Flu. Along with this, cough, headache, sore throat, breathlessness and dizziness are also its symptoms.
People should definitely be worried about the Bird Flu Virus because officials have confirmed that this virus is transmitted from Human to Human. This means that this virus can still spread to the infected child, his family and home. According to the World Health Organisation, a case of Bird Flu Virus Subtype H9N2 was reported in India in 2019.

The World Health Organisation assessed the increased number of Bird Flu cases in India and said that it usually occurs due to infection with poultry and in poor environments and also expressed the possibility of small to large cases of Bird Flu in India. “Most human cases of infection with H9N2 viruses are exposed through contact with infected poultry or contaminated environments… Given the continued detection of the virus in poultry populations, sporadic human cases can be expected.”
Not all Types are Dangerous, Experts
According to experts, only some types of Bird Flu Virus are dangerous and this has been detected in cows. Cases of Bird Flu Virus occur mainly in people who handle poultry or dead wild birds.Experts also said that, But because of this people have died on the Global Level, so it is necessary to pay attention to this.

4 years Old Girl : Symptoms was Visible since January
According to multiple reports, the symptoms of Bird Flu Virus were visible in the body of the infected girl since January. Seeing the deteriorating condition of the girl, the parents got the girl treated twice during this period and finally the 4 year old girl was hospitalized in May.
Suffered from Fever and Abdominal pain, Admitted to ICU
According to the recent statement of World Health Organisation, the girl was suffering from fever and stomach ache, hence the girl was taken to the paediatrician. Then after a few days his health deteriorated and the affected child started having problems in breathing along with Nervousness. After this the girl was admitted to the ICU of the local hospital, ultimately she was discharged after intense Medication and ICU care.
Swab Samples sent to National Institution of Virology
After this, on March 3, the infected 4 year old child was again admitted to the Government hospital due to severe respiratory distress. Then the swab sample was sent to the National Institution of Virology, from the sample it was found that it was the Bird Flu Virus. After this, on 1st May, the girl was given a discharge after taking medication.
What Experts are saying on this Deadly Infected Virus ?
Dr. Pragya Yadav, scientist and expert at National Institute of Virology, said,
“The problem with the cases in the US is that the pathogen has been detected in cows. Cases are usually reported in people handling poultry or dead wild birds. Infection in cows shows that virus has gained the ability to infect another animal, increasing its host versatility.”
"There are several subtypes of avian influenza and cases are picked up from time to time by the network of laboratories that monitor flu cases. Not all types are dangerous, but deaths due to the infection have been seen globally,"
