"BOMB BLAST" Threats In 41 Schools of Ahmedabad

On Monday 6th May, emails threatening bomb blasts were received in more than 40 schools of Ahmedabad. The list of Schools of Ahmedabad Received Threatening Emails includes Asia School Gurukul, DPS Bopal School, HBK School In Memnagar, Zebar School in Thaltej, Cosmos Castle International School on SG Road, Anand Niketan in Thaltej, Shahibag Cantonment School and Two Kendriya Vidyalaya plus Several schools.

Deployment of Specialized Teams

Multiple Specialized Teams were deployed to detect Bomb and Secure Schools — Including Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, City Crime, SOG Special Operation Group. All the Deployed Specialized teams are Investigating the Matter as per their Certain Protocol — in which Ahmedabad Police is playing a very important role.

The DCP of Ahmedabad Stressed that, there is No Need to Panic..

No need to panic or exaggerate it...5-6 schools have been threatened through mail about bomb blast...we are checking. No need to give too much hype...people should not panic as tomorrow is poll day," Mentioned the DCP of Ahmedabad

Russia Link : Threatening Emails Receiving From Russian Server

Police found in their Investigation that these Threatening Emails are Coming from Russian Servers which contain Arabic Words plus Threats of Bomb Blast in Ahmedabad Schools. However, due to Summer Vacation, all these Schools are closed for Students — but one day after the Emails are coming, there is Lok Sabha election and theses Schools are Polling Centres for Lok Sabha Election. Investigation of Threatening Emails is still going on, on 7th May Voting Will be Held on 26 Seats. 

Unmasking The Sender Of Emails 

Police informed about their Ongoing Investigation regarding this Matter Mentioned that the Person Sending the Threatening Emails to Schools is being Identified as Tauheed Warrior. 

In the emails, there was a demand to bring "Sharia" law again in Gujarat along with threats to blast the schools with bombs or threats of violence were given to those who oppose this demand — Although the sender is still Anonymous.

The Statement of Ministry Of Home Affairs

Recently, the Ministry of Home Affairs in its official Twitter handle termed the emails received by Ahmedabad Schools as "hoax" and said, "Ministry of Home Affairs Twitter Handle, Home Secretary reviews the situation in wake of hoax emails received by some schools in Delhi last week. He stressed the need to prepare detailed protocol and SOPs to handle any such situation in future."

MHA, "Close Coordination" 

The Home Secretary of the Home Ministry asked Delhi Police and all the affected Schools to maintain close Coordination so that the Specialized Teams can do their work properly and any kind of Unnecessary Panic does not arise due to Misinformation. Further, MHA asked to increase security in the Affected Schools, installation of CCTV cameras and regular monitoring of threatening emails.

Same Pattern of Incidents followed in Delhi 

Just 6 days ago, The Same Incident happened in the Schools of Delhi.  More than 150 schools of Delhi Received Threatening Emails of of bomb blast. And After Intense Investigation it was found that these Emails were "Hoax".
