Large Scale Investment in Gold Beans In China 

China's Generation Z is preferring to invest in "gold beans" instead of diamonds, real estate, mutual funds or the stock market. People of China believe that neither the real estate of China is growing, the stock market is also down due to economic instability, diamond is also not giving any special returns, in such a situation people have no other option than investing in gold.

Why Only "Gold Beans"....

Even in gold, most of the people are "investing in gold beans only". This is because "gold beans" can be bought for very little money. Gold beans are as small as marble  have a simple design, these beans look very attractive and it can be bought even in low quantity.  Gold beans are of one gram and their price is around 400 to 600 CNY i.e. in Indian currency it is around rs 5200 to rs 7800 per bean.

Reduced Interest in FD

One reason behind the increasing sales of gold beans is that in recent months, Several Chinese banks have reduced the annual interest rate on fixed deposits by 1.5% to 1.8%.

Survey revealed that....

Recently, in October 2023, a Chinese Consumer Survey which was released by a Jewellery Firm "Chow Tai Fook" revealed that 70% of Pure gold buyers in China are between the age of 18 to 40.  Another Leading e-commerce Platform of China named as "Tmall and Taobao" revealed in their report that the majority of gold buyers in China were born after 1990.

India or China are the Largest consumers of Gold in the World, according to reports, almost 50% of the world's Gold is traded takes place in India and China.

Mangaing Director of Consulting at Digital Luxury Group in Shanghai, Jacques Roizen stated, " Incomes are not really appreciating, real estate is not really appreciating, the stock market is not really appreciating,".
