During the interview, Javed Akhtar compared the evolved archetype of the "Angry Young Man" with the character of Bhairav Singh, played by Ranbir Kapoor in the movie "Animal." 

He stated that a character like the "Angry Young Man" can never be seen in cinema again and elaborated on how Amitabh Bachchan's portrayal of the "Angry Young Man" differs from the character of Bhairav Singh.

In the interview, Javed Akhtar was asked whether Ranbir Kapoor will be able to reach the stardom of Amitabh Bachchan after playing the role of Evolutionized Angry Young man in "Animal" or not? 

Javed Akhtar said that Amitabh Bachchan’s angry hero was based on "deep hurt". However, with time, the hurt was forgotten, and there was only anger.

Lyricist-scriptwriter Javed Akhtar queried who is called a Contemporary Hero, "People are bored and tired of the angry heroes". He Revealed Deep hurt as the Reason for the Amitabh Bacchan's Anger, "You could see the pain in him while he’s angry. Then, they forgot about the hurt; there was only anger, which was crude."
