Exiting News: Swiggy, Blinkit, BigBasket, and Zomato to Launch Online Liquor Delivery in India Soon!

A very exciting news is coming according to which soon in India there will be online purchasing of Liquor via Social Media Platforms Like Swiggy, BigBasket, Zomato and Blinkit...... Currently State Authorities are taking it into Consideration. 

Recently many states of India are currently working in pilot project in order and exploring such platforms which are capable of online delivery of liquor and alcohol in India. Online Platforms Such as Zomato, Swiggy, and Big Basket are seen in support of the Idea, which means that online 

Liquor Selling may start soon in some permissible states of India.

Home Delivery of Liquor will start with low liquor spirits like Wine and Beer

Development experts have expressed their views on this and said that online delivery of liquor will start with low-alcohol beverages like beer or wine.

Because here we are talking about "Online Delivery of Liquor" – this new idea should only be approved after deep Consideration. For this, the State Authority is currently analyzing its Advantages and Disadvantages and its final decision is likely to come soon.

Home Delivery of Liquors are Already Allowed in Some Specific Cities 

Till now online delivery of Liquor is allowed only in 2 states of India Odisha or West Bengal. As of now, Online Liquor Delivery is allowed in these states only, however, in view of the lockdown of COVID 19, in states like Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh or Assam "Liquor Online Delivery" was allowed with some restrictions — but not yet, this decision was taken during lockdown when all the shops were closed. 

Swiggy and Zomato, both platforms offer Online Liquor Delivery in only selected and permitted cities in India. India's Booming City Bangalore remains ahead in all matters due to its high lifestyle, in Bangalore a Hipbar Platform provides online delivery of liquor, which is legally permitted by the state government. 

However, in some countries like United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, Germany and France Online Delivery of Liquor is allowed but it is subjected so many restrictions and Permissions.
