Chandipura Virus Outbreak: In a Tragic Turn, Six Kids of Gujarat Died Due to Outbreak of "Chandipura Virus" — As a result, screening of thousands of people is going on in Gujarat.
Now after Corona Virus, another virus can also spread in India, although this virus is not Corona but it is no less than it. Recently a viral infection has been found in the Gujarat state of India which has taken the lives of 6 innocent children.
Chandipura Virus Outbreak: 12 People Died Since the Ongoing Month
State Health Minister Rushikesh Patel gave information about this infection and said that the name of the viral infection is "Chindipura Viral Infection" — this virus has infected 12 people since July 10.
Investigation is underway on this viral infection; samples of all infected persons have been taken and sent to Pune's National Institute of Virology (NIV) for confirmation.

The Minister of Health of Gujarat, "Five out of the last six...."
"Six deaths due to suspected Chandipura virus have been reported in the state, but only after results of the samples it will be clear whether they were caused by the Chandipura virus," state Health Minister of Gujarat Rushikesh Patel Noted.
"Five out of the last six deaths have been reported from the civil hospital in Himatnagar in Sabarkantha district. All 12 samples, including eight patients at the civil hospital in Sabarkantha, have been sent to Pune's National Institute of Virology (NIV) for confirmation," Patel said.
As per the experts, the 4 children who died due to pediatricians in Himatnagar Civil Hospital till 10th July were actually died due to "Chandipura virus".
The virus also caused Havoc in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh
According to records, till now during this month a total of 12 people have been infected with "Chandipura Virus". This viral infection has not only spread in the Indian state of Gujarat but also in many states like Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Out of 12 Patients 3 are from Aravalli district, 1 from Mahisagar, 1 from Kheda, 1 from Madhya Pradesh and 2 patients are also from Rajasthan. All the patients are being treated in a hospital in Gujarat.
Symptoms, Causes and Preventions of Chandipura Virus
Till now there is no exact vaccine for Chandipura virus by which it can be Cured. And because of this, for treatment the patient is given high care. Chandipura Virus has some common symptoms like headache, fever, dizziness and Convulsions.
Simple medication is given to the infected person and if he does not get well then either he will go into coma or if the situation becomes worse, he may die. This is a very rare viral infection but it is serious and is transmitted by mosquitoes
Health Screening on 18 Thousands of People In Gujarat
Talking about the areas affected by the virus, Rushikesh Patel said, "There is no spread of the Chandipura virus. Nonetheless, close observation has been maintained in the impacted regions." He also told that strict observation is being maintained on this.
Along with this high level Screening is Performing in Gujarat to prevent this viral infection, "In 4,487 homes, we have screened 18,646 people. The health agency is preventing the sickness from spreading around the clock," stated Patel.

Chandipura Virus is not a new viral infection yet, rather it was identified many decades ago. Its first identification took place in 1965 in Chandipur village of Maharashtra, hence it was named Chandipura Virus. In 1965, this Virus caused massive destruction the village of Maharashtra. Chandipura Vesiculovirus (CHPV) which is known as Chandipura virus.
Despite being discovered so early, no theory of this virus has been clarified yet nor has any deep research been done on it till now and even if research has been done, no exact outcome has come out.

After 1965, The Virus outbreak occurred in 2003 or 2004. In 2003, 329 cases of this virus were reported in Andhra Pradesh, in which approximately 183 children died. After this, in 2004 also this virus showed its wrath in the Indian state of Gujarat.
