Supreme Court on NEET UG Scam 2024 : 67 Students from same Coaching Got 720 marks
The Supreme Court has a strong stand against the “malpractices” that took place in the results of one of the toughest entrance exams in India – NEET UG. The Supreme Court is continuously investigating this matter.
Students are accusing the National Testing Agency that — How 67 Students studying from the same coaching centres get 720 marks out of 720 in NEET exam declared on 4 June. On this, Alakh Sir of Physics Wallah has also filed a Petition on Supreme Court, the petition said that more than 1,500 children get 60 to 70 marks in the form of "Grace marks".
Supreme Court on NEET Undergraduate Scam 2024
This matter is not of now but of 10 days ago, on 1 June, when 10 students, one of whom was named Shivangi Mishra, filed a petition in the Supreme Court. The petition was filed against the National Test Agency (NTA) in which NTA was questioned on the issue of giving grace marks to Several students. NEET undergraduate exam which was held on 5 May at all India level and its result was declared on 4 June. Th Supreme Court mentioned,
"We will not stop the counselling. If you argue further, we will dismiss this,"
The Supreme Court, while looking at the grave disappointment among NEET UG student regarding this matter, put a lot of emphasis on it and sought an immediate reply from the National Test Agency on the this Allegations. On this the Supreme Court Bench wrote to NTA in a statement saying, "It is not that simple... that because you have done it (held the exam) it is sacrosanct,". Honourable Justice Amanullah marked that, "Sanctity has been affected, so we need answers,".
67 Students from same Coaching got 720 marks, Results showed
The petitioners also paid attention to the fact that how can 67 children who studied from a “particular” coaching centre get 720 out of 720 marks, and this fact directly points to a fraud in the future of 13,000 bright children.
The petition alleged that the NEET-UG Result was full of "malpractices", the petitioners came to know about the paper leak. This petition was heard by the Court under Article 14 (Right to Equality) of the Indian Constitution. It was also alleged that, many students were given unfair benefits in the form of "grace marks" by the National Test Agency.
Students Demandes For CBI Inquiry on this Matter against NTA
The Vacation Bench of Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah or Vikram Nath is acting on this matter. In the petition, it is demanded that the NEET UG examinations held in May should be cancelled and the matter should be investigated further. Yesterday, many students who gave the NEET UG exam in May gathered out of the NTA Office and have demanded a deep investigation into the matter and a CBI inquiry on the National Test Agency NTA.
Grace marks is just a "Wastage of Time", Petitioner marked
The main issue of this is "Grace Marks", Petitioners are saying that Grace Marks should not be given. Alleged that, there is no "defined logic" and the matter of giving grace marks was termed as "Wastage of time". The petitioners also alleged that there was no disclosure of this in the "information bulletin" even before this.
"There has no defined logic for grace marks given (and) no list has been shared as per given grace marks. Moreover, the reason for awarding grace marks is 'wastage of time'... but this was never disclosed in information bulletin before the exam," the petitioners claimed.
It was further stated in the petition that it favours "inequality" among students and also has a negative impact on the entire society. "It perpetuates inequalities by favouring those who can afford to pay for leaked exam papers or engage in fraudulent activities, while disadvantaging those who rely on their hard work and merit to succeed and the same also impacts the society as a whole,".
Petition Filed by Alakh Pandey, the CEO of Physics wallah
A petition was filed by Well Known Personality in Examination Industry and the CEO of Physics wallah, Alakh Pandey. The petition was signed by 20,000 students and alleged that marks of more than 1,500 students were wrongly increased in the form of "Grace marks", these 1,500 students were given 70 to 80 marks in the form of "Grace marks" — This petition will be heard on Wednesday. Allah Sir in their Recent Statement demanded "Justification for Students" and specially emphasizing on "Grace Marks" said, "Paper leak only but not about the grace marks or anything else,"
Alakh Sir Recently Tweeted on Twitter marked that,
"Going to the Hon'ble Supreme Court with our advocate @jsaideepak, today at 10:30 am, to get our petition against NTA mentioned. I believe in the court and our judiciary system. Our students will get justice."
Alakh sir's advocate J Sai Deepak marked that, "The court has indicated that our matter will also be taken up with the other matters, but the court is clear that it will not stay the counselling process at this stage,”

Prior to this on 17th may, Supreme Court Denied...
Even before this, a similar petition was brought to the Supreme Court on 17th May which was considered a lot but ultimately the demand of not declaring the result was rejected. The bench of Honourable Chief Justice DY Chandrashekhar had reported the matter in July. The bench also directly Denied that the results of examinations conducted at all-India level cannot be stopped.
