The world's most popular city and the home of Hollywood stars, the one and only City of United States, Los Angeles, was recently hit by a terrible earthquake of 3.4 magnitude at 10:26 pm on 2 June.
The United States Geographical Survey has estimated the magnitude of the 3.5 earthquake to have struck Los Angeles, with the epicenter about 2.5 miles southwest of South Pasadena in Los Angeles County at 10:00 a.m. PT.

Prior to this, Earthquake of February 

Prior to this, on February 9, 2024, an earthquake shock was also felt in southern California near Malibu – the intensity of that earthquake was 1.1 magnitude more than this. The impact of the 4.6 magnitude earthquake was also directly felt in Los Angeles County.

Though there was no immediate indication of damage or injuries at the time of the earthquake, the Los Angeles Fire Department declared it "widely felt" in Los Angeles County.
