33 Died and 60 Injured #ResignStalin Trends due to Kallakurichi Hooch Tragedy

Recently in the Kallakurichi Hooch Tragedy 33 People have lost their lives and around 60 people are injured who have been admitted to the near Government Medical College. On this, CM Stalin expressed his  condolences marked that, "I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of the deaths of......" 

The incident took place on Tuesday in Kallakurichi district of Tamil Nadu, in which people. The number of people who died after consuming illicit liquor is continuously increasing. Tamil Government suspended the District Collector and Superintendent.

A very scary incident occurred on Wednesday in the Kallakurichi district of Tamil Nadu in which about 33 people died and 60 were injured after consuming illicit liquor.

Recently, #Resign Stalin is trending on social media due to Kallakurichi Hooch Tragedy, people across the country are showing their anger against Stalin, everyone wants that Chief Ministers Stalin should resign from their posts soon, this is not the first time that Jan Resign Stalin is trending, rather even before this in mid-March, Edapaddi had asked Stalin to resign. 

The Tamil Nadu government said in a statement that a 49-year-old Kannukutti has been arrested. And about 209 litres of liquor containing deadly methanol has been seized from him.

On this, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin while giving his reaction on Platform X said that he is "shocked" by the incident in Kallakurichi, assured to arrest the people involved in this crime and also talked about taking "immediate action".

“I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of the deaths of people who had consumed adulterated liquor in Kallakurichi. Those involved in the crime have been arrested, and action has been taken against the officials who failed to prevent it,” 

“Immediate action will be taken if the public informs about those involved in such crimes. Such crimes that ruin society will be suppressed with an iron fist,”. 

Blaming Stalin led DMK for Kallakurichi Hooch Tragedy

This heart wrenching incident has created a state of anger not only among the people of Tamil Nadu but the entire country. Everyone is blaming MK Stalin led DMK for this scary incident which took the life of 33 Peoples. 

Asking Stalin to resign from the post of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu as soon as possible. On this, all the big leaders of Tamil Nadu are reacting against Stalin, which includes BJP Tamil Nadu President K Amaliya, Edappadi K Palanswami and Dr SG Suryah.

Tamil Goverment Suspended Several Police Officers including District Collector 

To investigate this crime thoroughly, Stalin has formed a Crime Branch-Crime Investigation Department (CB-CID) investigation. According to a Report, Immediately after this gut-wrenching incident, Tamil Government replaced the District Collector of Kallakurichi district, Sravan Kumar Jatavath, and also suspended Superintendent of Police Samay Singh Meena. The Tamil government also immediately suspended 9 police personnel of Kallakurichi prohibition wing.

Tamil Government has appointed MS Prasanth as the new District Collector in place of Sravan Kumar Jatavath. MS Prasanth, recently visited the Government Medical College Hospital where patients are being treated. The post of New Superintendent was given to Rajnath Chaturvedi.

Politics is also going on in full swing on this Tragic Incident, on this the President of Tamil Nadu of Bhatiya Janata Party, K Annamalai, has defeated DMK over the inaction of the DMK Government.

 Deeply saddened by the tragic death of 35 invaluable lives after consuming illicit liquor in Kallakurichi. "The deaths caused by illicit liquor in the past 2 years under the DMK regime in Tamil Nadu have decelerated Tamil Nadu by 4 decades, taking us back to the 1980s." 

After this Annamalai clarified that on this tragic incident, the BJP will hold a "state-wide protest" on 22 June against the "incompetency" of the DMK government to curb the sale and production of illicit liquor in Tamil Nadu.

K Palanswami expressed Condolences Saying, 

" I was shocked to hear the news that the death toll has risen to 29 in Kallakurichi. As the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly convenes today, as per tradition, condolence resolutions will be read and passed for many including the deceased former members. Condolences on behalf of @AIADMKOfficial to the deceased."

Expressing their strick action on this tragic incident, DMK shared a picture of a recent meeting on the platform and wrote, "Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. Under the chairmanship of M.K.Stalin, today (20-06-2024) a study meeting was held at the Chief Secretariat regarding the death of people who drank alcohol mixed with methanol in Kallakurichi district."
