A father and 14 year old son drowned in Anna Lake, Virginia

A heart-breaking incident took place in Anna Lake of Virginia Reservoir in the United States. A 14-year-old son from out of state started drowning while swimming. When the father tried to rescue him, he lost his sight and unfortunately both the father and son lost their lives.

A heart-breaking incident occurs in the United States, in which a father and son drowned to death in Lake Anna in Virginia, as Reported by the Investigation Authorities. According to the Louisa County Sheriff's Office, the father is said to be 42 and the son is said to be 14.

LCSO received Call on Saturday, afternoon 

On 25 May, According to the statement of Lousia County Sheriff's Office, this Gut-wrenching incident is being told of 1:10 pm Saturday afternoon. When officials of the Louisiana County Sheriff's Office receive a call in which a teenage boy was found drowned in Virginia Lake Anna. Virginia is about 60 km northwest of Richmond, according to a statement from the Louisa County Sheriff's Office, reported on Sunday.

The names of the Deceased were kept secret

Dead father and son, both were out of state, names of both have been limited to their relatives only. The Louisa County Sheriff's Office does not suspect foul play. The Release Marked, 

Statement of the Police on this Heart-wrenching Incident 

According to multiple reports and Police, it is to be believed that the father tried a lot to save the son, the people presented at the Spot claim that the father lost sight while trying to save the son, this effort of the father was "unsuccessful".Apart from the father, people present there also tried to save the child but they failed.

"...the father struggling, just before losing...." 

“While en route deputies were advised that the father of the child had attempted to locate/rescue his son.  It was reported that witnesses observed the father struggling, just before losing sight of him as well. Several people went into the water in an attempt to locate them but were unsuccessful.”

Assistance of Several Teams to took out the Dead Body 

 

LCSO Marine Units, Mineral Vol Fire, Lake Anna Vol Rescue, Department of Wildlife Resources, and Spotsylvania County Fire & EMS Dive Team divers helped locate and remove the bodies of the dead child and father on the spot, after which both Dead Bodies are being taken to the Medical Examiner in Richmond.

"The victims in this tragedy were from out of state, and their names are being withheld, pending notification of next of kin,"

"The cold side is the public side; anybody can get in to. The hot side is the private side where you have to be an owner or a guest. Never heard about anybody dying on the hot side, you always hear about somebody dying on the cold side, more frequently," as mentioned by a person named J.P.
