19 year old Pakistani Girl Got Free Heart Transplantation in MGM Hospital Chennai
A 19 years old Teen Girl Belongs from Karachi Pakistan, received free Heart Transplantation and High Cost Medication in Mahatma Gandhi Medical Hospital of Chennai.
Ayesha Rasheed is a 19 year old Pakistani girl, from Karachi who was suffering from Heart Relates Issue for Several Years. Ayesha had also suffered a heart attack in 2019 – for its Medication She had earlier come to India in 2019. But Unfortunately, even after a lot of treatment, she did not feel any relief.

A 69 years old Brain Dead Person Donated Heart
And Once again in June 2023 she came to India regarding the same Problem. But Fortunately this time, after waiting for almost 10 months she finally got a heart donor. A 69 year old brain-dead donor from New Delhi gave him his heart — after which she had underwent from a successful heart transplantation.
Free Heart Transplantation and Medication
Ayesha came to India with her mother because she did not have a father.
Ayesha was intreated at Chennai's MGM Hospital. KR Balakrishan, Chairman of Chennai's MGM Hospital, bore the entire cost of her Heart Transplantation.
Succesful Heart Transplantation
After her successful heart transplant, Ayesha looked very happy and cheerful. Ayesha also thanked the doctors and their entire team in her statement and said, “I am feeling fine (now). I thank the Indian government for giving me a visa. I got a heart transplant here,”.
Ayesha's mother Sanobar told that Ayesha was very Sick while Coming Chennai and said , "We got an emergency visa… The doctors saved her,"
Director of MGM Hospital K R Balakrishnan said,
K R Balakrishnan, Chairman of Mahatma Gandhi Medical MGM Hospital Chennai, who is a heart transplant surgeon and cardiothoracic by profession, said — we neither looked at nationality, nor we looked at religion. We just saw the humanity and saved the life of a young girl who had a big life ahead of her by fulfilling our duty as a doctor.
The doctor further Added 'Her single mother had no money, no resources at all. With great difficulty, they arranged some finance and came here. We had to take care of the patient's entire expenses including her hospitalisation,''.
In an Recent Interview K R Balakrishnan told to ANI "... In that country (Pakistan), managing patients with artificial heart pumps is not easy because the equipment required to monitor is not there. With great difficulty, she got the Visa and she came here with little money. We had to take care of all the expenses. 'Aishwaryam' trust came forward very generously to help, and they paid for other patients as well. Eventually, we got a heart donor from Delhi and she underwent the transplant... Outside of North America and Western Europe, not many countries can do this. The cost incurred here is a tiny fraction of what it would have cost other countries in the world. Technology in this country is very good..."
