Kalki Temple : a Divine Temple Stone Foundation laid by PM Modi
Kalki Dham, A Divine temple is being built in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, which is dedicated to Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Vishnu. This temple will be very different from all the other temples because this temple is being built before the incarnation of God.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid its foundation stone on 19 February. Great scholars, saints and ascetics became part of this historical foundation stone ceremony. The temple will be constructed by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust whose leader is former Congress Acharya Pramod Krishnam. Recently, Acharya Pramod Krishnam was expelled from Congress due to his hostile remarks.

The Shikhara of the temple ( its height ) will be 108 feet and its platform will be 11 feet high. There will be 10 sanctums in the temple, in each of the ten sanctums the idols of the 10 incarnations of Vishu will be installed. Many of its features also match the Ram temple of Ayodhya, like steel and iron will not be used in the construction of the temple and pink colored stones will be used in it.
Words of PM Modi in the Stone Foundation Ceremony
PM Modi said in his speech on 19th February that "On one hand our pilgrimage sites are being developed, on the other hand hi-tech infrastructure is also being created in the cities. Today if temples are being built then new medical colleges are also being built across the country. Today our ancient sculptures are also being brought back from abroad, and record numbers of foreign investments are also coming. This change is proof that the cycle of time has turned. A new era is knocking at our doors today. It is time that we welcome that arrival with open hearts."
According to Hindu Scriptures
It is believed in Hindu culture that Kalki will be the tenth incarnation out of the 24 incarnations of Vishu. He will be born under the control of Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that Lord Shiva "Devdutt" will give a salt and white horse to Lord Kalki, Lord Parashuram will give him a sword and Lord Brahaspati will teach him, keeping this depiction in mind the idol of Lord Kalki will be built. It is also believed that Lord Kalki will marry Vaishnodevi established in Jammu.
