Chicken pieces found in vegetarian food on Air India flight

On January 9, Veera Jain a passenger, who was traveling by Kolkata-Mumbai flight, got chicken pieces in her vegetarian meal.

Seeing which she got very angry and wrote on platform x criticizing the service of Air India flight

" On my @airindia flight AI582, I was served a veg meal with chicken pieces in it! I boarded the flight from Calicut airport. This was a flight that was supposed to take off at 18:40 pm but left the 19:40." 

Veera Jain posted a photo of chicken pieces mixed with veg food on platform X, on the wrapper of which "veg main meal" was clearly written.

Veera Jain also tagged regulatory bodies, DGCA and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Platform X and demanded them to take strict action on this matter.

Seeing this critical tweet on social platform, Air India team asked Veera Jain to talk in DM and responded that " Dear Ms. Jain, we request you delete the asked details from the open tweet ( to avoid misuse ) and share the same with us via DM."

She also complained about this experience to cabin supervisor Sona, Sona asked him and said that apart from you and your friend, this has happened with many passengers. After this, she also asked the crew to complain and tell other passengers about this, but the crew did not take any action on it.
