PM Narendra Modi met with a beneficiary of VBSY through video conferencing

Recently PM Narendra Modi met Alpesh Bhai from Bharuch Gujarat, a beneficiary of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, through video conferencing.

While introducing himself in the conference, Alpesh said that he has obtained a diploma in Hardware Engineering from Mumbai. He worked for a few years but then he left the job and came to his village Bharuch and started looking after farming.  His father is a farmer by profession. He have 40 acre of land. 

He told that he has benefited a lot from many farmer schemes of Modi government and Gujarat government. Alpesh Bhai told that he bought tractor + equipment under AGR 50, in which he got good subsidy.

PM Modi replied to alpesh bhai, "When I was of your age, I had not even heard what 1 lakh is, and you are talking in lakhs."

He further says that he has been associated with Atma Yojana since 2008, in which he got the opportunity to visit different villages and was also introduced to different new agricultural techniques. He also receives the Atma best farmer award.

Pm modi while praising alpesh bhai says that " You are an inspiration for the youth of the country and you have proved that there is immense potential to do good work in agriculture in the country.

Today many youth are turning towards farming. Our effort is to provide a better environment to our farmers from seed to market.

Our effort is to help the farmers with new technology and new thinking - the entry of educated youth into farming gives great strength to this determination.

You might have to have a drone program here - and now, just as tractors have taken a huge place in farming in every village, in the coming days drones are also going to be adopted. There is also a drone program in this "Modi's Guarantee".

And yes sir - I also want to give a task to you and your village, that when this Modi's guarantee goes to another village, he should get an even grander welcome in the next village and more and more people should join. For this, you youth should go to the next village, work harder, prepare and take charge of 4-5 villages".
