29 years American Golfer, Lexi Thompson is now about to retire from her 17 years of vibrant golf career. According to the official website of LPGA, Lexi will retire at the end of 2024. Currently she is playing her 18th Consecutive LPGA tournament. She marked, "I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life."

29 years old, American professional golfer and 15 time Ladies Professional Golf Association LPGA winner Golfer, Lexi Thompson have announced their retirement. Lexi Thompson is retiring from full time competitive golf. Lexi has also been a two-time Olympian due to her expertise and amazing play. Currently, Lexi Thomson is playing her 18th US women Open before the age of 30.

Saying "Goodbye" is not easy
Lexi said in a video on Instagram that it wasn't easy for her to say "goodbye", but it this is the right time.
"While it is never easy to say goodbye, it is indeed time. At the end of 2024, I will be stepping away from a full professional golf schedule,".
She is "Looking Forward" for the Next Chapter
Lexi's further said that she is in the game till the end of this year and she is excited to enjoy it. She said that she is "looking Forward" for her future life.
"I'm excited to enjoy the remainder of the year as there are still goals I want to accomplish. I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life."

On Tuesday at the US Open, Lexi became very emotional about her retirement, revealing her feelings about her strong bond with Golf and saying,
“I think we all have our struggles, especially out here. Unfortunately in golf you lose more than you win, so it’s an ongoing battle to continue to put yourself out there in front of the cameras and continuing to work hard and maybe not seeing the results you want and getting criticized for it — So it’s hard"
“I will stay, yes, I've struggled with it — I don't think there's somebody out here that hasn't. It's just a matter of how well you hide it, which is very sad.” Lexi marked.
