Dhruv Agarwal told that since the beginning of his career, he did not pay attention to his health, he took unhealthy diet and also drank alcohol, along with this he used to sit in one place for continuous hours without exercising, this is why He had cholesterol and due to high stress level his blood pressure was also very High. He has been taking medication for high blood pressure and Imbalanced Cholesterol Level for 4 long years. — information reported by SCMP.
An Incidents made him to lose 71 Kg
But one thing happened in October 2021 — when he came on a business trip to India, and he felt that he had a heart attack, but in the reports it was found that he had a heart burn, then the doctor told him to take care of his health, weight and diet. Dhruv Agrawal told SCMP —
"My heart was racing, I had palpitations. I felt I was going to die, I kept thinking ‘One day I will lose weight, one day I will become fit,' until one day I landed in a hospital emergency room. I remember that moment clearly, lying in the hospital bed, when I resolved to take charge of my health"
And this incident inspired him to become conscious about her health and achieve good health,at that time he weighs around 151.1 Kg. Results, loses 71 Kg in just 2 years — from 151.1 kg to 80.1 kg.
Steps taken by Dhruv Agrawal to lose his weight
To begin with, Dhruv tried to eliminate all his unhealthy habits, which included eating unhealthy processed or fried foods like samosa, dosa, toast, etc, which Contains Bad Cholesterol. After this, he also banned alcohol, even though, all this was in their Habit.
Dhurv once told —
"I would have 10 to 12 drinks a week with friends, my drinks of choice being red wine or whisky. I quit alcohol for 18 months,"
Then after the gym, he skipped breakfast and drank a protein shake. In lunch, he started taking about 250 grams of protein filled pulses and 150 - 180 grams of cooked vegetables and roti. And in snacks he ate nuts, cucumber, walnuts, yoghurt, carrots etc.
In dinner he started taking Celery and asparagus soup with grilled Chicken fish and much more.
Physical Exercise to lose weight
Along with this he paid full attention to exercise and gym, Dhruv started running from 10000 steps which he gradually increased to 12000 steps, he did many exercises including squats, leg and shoulder, push sledge.
Further this, his gym trainer Ahmed Zaki inspires Dhruv a lot — Ahmed motivates Dhruv by giving the example of tennis legend "Roger Federes".
After so much hard work and dedication, Dhruv lost weight but some people think that Dhruv got surgery done - on this Dhruv once said that — "People could not believe I had lost so much weight. They thought I had undergone Bariatric Surgery or was on weight-loss diabetic drugs. I started receiving compliments and the more compliments I received, the more it egged me on to stay fit. It was a virtuous feedback loop."
